+ Who are we helping at the CASA Superhero Run

We are helping nearly 2,700 children in Travis, Williamson, Guadalupe, Comal, Hays & Caldwell counties who've been abused or neglected. CASA speaks up for children by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system. When the state steps in to protect a child’s safety, a judge appoints a trained CASA volunteer to make independent and informed recommendations in the child’s best interest.

+ How can someone learn more about CASA on race day?

Find a CASA volunteer in a blue "Ask Me About CASA" cape or visit the "Learn More About CASA" booth in the exhibitor tent area across from the stage.

+ Where are restrooms located on event day?

There will be portable restrooms located on the north side of the park (by the Kids Area bounce houses) and the south side of the park (by the VIP team tents).

+ Where do people get water on race day?

There are two water stops on the 5K course, plus 1 water station in the park near the Start/Finish line.

+ Where is the First Aid station?

The First Aid tent will be close to the Start/Finish line in the exhibitor tent area.

+ Where is Lost and Found?

All found items will go to the main stage. Please ask a volunteer there if you've lost anything.

+ How will the races be staged? What groups and in what order?

+ What happens if it rains?

Provided there’s no lightning, the race will go on. If there is lightning, we will postpone the race for up to 30 minutes at the latest. If any changes are made to the event start time, we will announce from the main stage & start/finish line and will update casasuperherorun.com to reflect the changes.

+ Where will race results be posted?

Race results will be posted at the check-in/registration tables.

+ Do race or costume contest winners have to be present to pick up awards?

They do not have to be present. If they miss the 5K awards ceremony they can go to the main stage after to pick up their medal. CASA will contact all other winners after the event to claim their prizes.
