Every child needs a hero, but abused and neglected children need superheroes. That is why I am fundraising to help children who’ve been through abuse or neglect have the powerful voice of a CASA volunteer, a true superhero to guide them through the toughest moments in their young lives. Today I am asking you to join forces with me by donating to help every child who needs one have their own superhero volunteer.
Remember: With great power comes great responsibility. Thank you for using your power for good!

Suggested Subject: An Old-School Phone Booth?
Hi Super Friend,
Do you know where I can find an old-school phone booth?
Why do I ask? Well, on September 17th, I'll be transforming into [YOUR SUPERHERO] to run a 5K supporting CASA. This will be fun, but I'm doing it for a more important reason, one that I hope you will help me with.
CASA speaks up for children who’ve been abused or neglected by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system. When the state steps in to protect a child’s safety, a judge appoints a trained CASA volunteer to make independent and informed recommendations in the child’s best interest. CASA volunteer take the time to get to know all parts of a child's life. They ensure that each child's individual needs remain a priority in an over-burdened child welfare system.
I'm setting a goal to raise [$YOUR GOAL] to help support CASA in this cause. Will you help me be a superhero by donating today at [YOUR PERSONAL FUNDRAISING LINK]?
And do you know where I might find that phone booth?
P.S. You are also welcome to register to run and fundraise with me. You can join today at www.casasuperherorun.com.

If I learned anything from superheroes, it's that "with great power comes great responsibility." I'm using my great power to help children who have been abused or neglected at the 2017 CASA Superhero Run. Will you be my trusty sidekick and make a donation to my personal fundraising page?

Batman knew that he alone could not protect the citizens of Gotham, so he recruited Robin and Batgirl. Even with my awesome powers, I cannot help all the children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Will you join me? Together we can be a powerful voice for the children of this fine city.
